What is Manglik Dosha?

In Vedic astrology, Mangal (Mars) is the planet of energy, courage, and conflict. When Mars sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house of a person's birth chart, the chart is said to carry Mangal Dosha, and the person is called Manglik.
